EN Why did the plague (black death) epidemic bypass Poland?

Why? The answer is important because it can be a history lesson helpful in today's coronavirus epidemic? According to many sources, the reason was - among others -the decision of King Casimir the Great of Poland to close the country's borders and establish internal quarantines. IMHO maybe just then also played a role the CCR5-32DELTA virus resistance gene in Poles, which I wrote about earlier.

Dlaczego? Odpowiedź jest ważna bo to może być lekcja z historii pomocna w dzisiejszej epidemii koronawirusa? Bowiem wg wielu źródeł powodem była decyzja Króla Polski Kazimierza Wielkiego m.in. o zamknięciu granic kraju oraz ustanowieniu wewnętrznych kwarantann. IMHO być może właśnie wtedy także odegrał pewną rolę gen odporności na wirusy CCR5-32DELTA u Polaków, o czym napisałem post wcześniej.
