EN: I've read many papers and several books about ancient history of Poland. It was probably called Lechia for some period of time before Baptism (966 year). I was interested why the Russians and Ukrainians sometimes call us Poles per "lachs"?Moreover, why in some old countries like Turkey or Iran (Persia) Poland was until recently known as Lehistan or Lahestan? IAccording to new research, Poland is one of the oldest states and nations of Europe, inhabiting similar territory, probably for a minimum of 7,000 years. This also means one of the oldest countries and nations of the known history in the world. The evidence is of different nature, but the final confirmation of some of the hypotheses based on archeological artifacts, linguistics, ancient chronicles that survived despite the passage of time and many war turbulences throughout Europe brought genetics! Due to DNA Poles can be regarded also as Aryans/Sarmats.
What a tragic paradox, Hitler talked about the Germans as a higher Aryan race, planning and implementing the genocide of Poles, in a situation where now thanks to genetic research we know 100% that Poles are these Aryans! Germans are also not known about Arians (Y-DNA, Poles / Aryans: r1a, Germany: haplogroup r1b)
BTW: "Slavs" doesn't matter slaves! The name "Slavs" has a deeper semantic meaning. There are several hypotheses, in that it comes from the word "Słowo" (in eng. "słowo" = "word"). IMO this hypothesis does not have a "deep" sense, because words are part of the language of every nation and state. One of the hypotheses, which for me is definitely more convincing, says that "Slavs" comes from the Polish word "Sława" (eng. glory, fame), because of many victories in the distant past. Ultimately, ancient Poland (Lechia) was the only country in Europe not conquered by the ancient Romans! Although the Romans managed to get across the sea and conquer Britain and much of Europe, often establishing Pax Romana.
It's only introduction, soon will be continued.
